Farewell to October
Goodbye, dear October.
You’re my favorite month of all.
We watched the leaves turn to beautiful shades of yellow, red, and orange.
We watched spooky spiders weaving webs.
We painted pine cones that we gathered from our yard (and our hands, paper, and face too). 🙂
We made apple crisp and danced in the kitchen while baking.
We got up early to watch the most beautiful sunrise.
We had a fall party, and carved pumpkins and roasted the seeds.
We made a stuffed pumpkin from an old knitted hat.
We baked pumpkin spice macarons, and decorated them with our favorite Halloween scenes.
We lit our jack-o-lanterns to light up the night.
We trick or treated and got a little spooked. 🙂
Most importantly, we spent time with the ones we love most.
You were wonderful to us October. We’ll see you again next year!
